Parque aquatico south bend8/31/2023 ![]() ![]() There were general water splash areas, mini slides as well as kiddie versions of the drop slides. Our children aren't independent swimmers so they spent most of their time in the children's area which was amazing and perfect for both. Yes in August there are massive queues, incredibly busy and limited space to place your parasol but all this has to be part of the expection when going in peak season. We went as a family with a 5yo and nearly 3yo. The gift shop also reasonable.Ĭan’t comment on the parrot or animal shows as we didn’t go to them. Also was 63 euro for us both, for entry with transport which we thought was also reasonable. We both had a fantastic day here and would highly recommend if your in Portugal. Also they had organisation where you que for the rings doughnuts then you que for ride which ensured everyone got a chance to get on rides and no one could hog the rings and just keep using them again and again. Staff friendly and all the life guards were helpful and competent. ![]() There was lots of rides for all ages, also mini streams all around if your feet got hot, lots of grassy areas if you didn’t want to pay for beds we just left our towels and beach bag on this area and was safe and comfortable. Reasonable prices for food and drink, full pizza and litre of coke 10euro. This was the cleanest water park I have ever been to. They need to do more recycling, but compared to other places they have made good progress. No change there and that was a disappointment. On many items they had removed plastic altogether or had reduced it considerably. It was so good to see that they are really trying to remove plastic packaging and general waste in their food outlets. As we arrived early (about 20 mins before the park open) we watched staff arrive and every single one had a temperature check. However all outside so risk massively reduced anyway. The social distancing in queue lines was good, but impossible to keep 2 metres at times. The park was spotless with constant cleaning taking place. All staff had masks and kept their distance. With regards to their Covid-19 measures there were excellent. The life guards were excellent and ensure everyone respected the rules. The park is also very well laid out with lots of space for you to lay out your towels. There is a good variety of water slides for all ages. After that the line for The Wave was a good 30 minutes long. However, we did do The Wave first thing when the park opened at 10.00 am. I think the longest we waited was 10 Minutes. The park did have restricted numbers due to covid-19 so I think this meant the queue times were shorter. However this year it was the only one open so gave it a go. So last year we avoided this water park due to the long wait times. ![]()
